What it does
The skentel Meter Validation App is an AI-powered tool that checks your meter readings against the skentel data platform. Simply upload a photo of the meter along with the reading data, and the app will analyse the image and data, match it to the correct device, and confirms that the readings are accurate and correctly synced. It removes the manual process of having to cross reference image readings.
How it works

1. Upload your readings
Submit a photo of the meter along with the reading data. No special equipment needed, a clear image and the figures are enough to get started.
2. AI matches and analyses
The app reads the image and data, identifies the exact device on the skentel platform, and compares your reading against the expected values.
3. Validated and synced
Once the AI has done its part, the skentel team step in to ensure accuracy, verify and troubleshoot any potential issues that the validation process may highlight.

The Meter Validation App uses AI to read and interpret meter images and data. It is highly accurate, but like any AI tool it works best as a check rather than the final word.
All submissions are reviewed by the team at skentel via an internal review platform to ensure clarity and accuracy.
For the clearest results, upload a well-lit, straight-on photo where all digits are fully visible, and make sure the reading data you enter matches the meter shown in the image, additionally please ensure the original photo is used for the upload submission.
